Default Great ifishers at the FORD stores.

GREAT ifishers at Ford stores.

Long story, and I will try and be short.

I am leaving on a long and well planned trip in the morning.

Well Tuesday night I decided to get a fresh oil change prior to leaving as I will be pulling a travel trailer to the East Coast. I have a friend and working relationship with the Hillsboro ford store where I bought my new car prior to my truck I bought from Doherty. I have a good relationship with Roger (H2Odog) at the Hillsboro store and new that they had a drive up oil change and so beings how it was short notice and could not make an appointment at Doherty I got an oil change at Hillsboro ford store and they found a leak in the transmission front seal.

REAL BUMMER.
I did not want to postpone my trip any longer and Roger could not get to it till next week he called his friend Jeff at Doherty and they told him they could get it done so I could leave on my trip.

I beat feet out to Doherty and Jeff kept the truck yesterday morning and rented me a car to use while they fixed my truck.
Now here is where a long story gets short. The transmission man had my truck fixed and returned to me good as new in 24 hours.
So KUDOs in duplicate for Roger and especially for JEFF at Doherty for making my start to a great trip a good one and on time. I would bet NO WHERE else in the country would they go out of their way like this for a first time customer.

These are GREAT FORD men and have my much appreciative THANK YOU for service above and beyond.

Dave (mr kitchen pass) Thank you for a first class operation and a big Thank you to your service department.

Have a great, safe trip, PapaHog! I'm really envious of your adventure. In the 70's, I drove cross country 11 times in various jalopies and had fun each time.

Gotta second your praise of the West Side Ford guys, too. Roger is an absolutely stand-up guy who'll take care of you no matter what ... I can't recommend him highly enough! I can't tell you how well he took care of my issues! And Dave is his equal, as many have testified. Between the two, I can't believe there are any independent Ford service businesses still in operation.

I like the way two diffrent dealers went out of their way to help one guy....that right there is what is suppose to happen " people helping each other" it is what we lack in this world, you know what? when I buy my new truck I am going to go see one of these guys, I have always driven chevy and dodge...well mostly dodge...and jeep but I might just have to check into fords...if the service reflects the vehicle I could be happy.
my 2cents.
