Default Hunting advice needed....

Ok so here is my question. I know alot of people arent going to give alot of location due to secret spots(thats ok)..I am hunting western deer this year up around estacada range and a little bit beyond..question i have is. In that area does any one have any advice or info on were deer are going to be more in some spots or less in others. Thanks in advance

Find the areas with big gravel pits full of beer bottles and shotgun shells, then get as far away from them as you can.

I spent many years hunting the "best looking" clearcuts, at least that's what I thought until the lightbulb went off in my head. I was hunting the cuts that got all the feed burned off them by the summer sun. I wised up and started hunting the north and east sides and the deer sightings increased dramatically.

BTF,
Ok, I'll jump in with a spot. Probably still washed out anyway.
Fish Ck to Whaleshead...parallel the Clack river. Drive as far as you can. hunt any cut lower than the main road toward the river and any area with running water within a mile.

If you feel ambicous, explore up fish ck and over the back side. used to be a road that connected in with the Brightenbush side but it was closed years ago. Might make for some remote hiking.... ie. peace & quite from road hunters.
Have fun,
Hunt'nFish
