Default Camping near or at Wickiup?

Heres the deal... Mom and dad just purchased a new RV and want to get it out at least once before winter sets in.

I have a truck camper and will be towing a 16' boat with me. Our intentions are to target trout sized for dinner, not monsters.

We are shooting for Thurs, Friday and Saturday (Sept 27th, 28th, and 29th).

Now, where to stay? Dan (Fish-On-Bend) suggested Twin Lakes Resort as a good location to camp, and looks like a nice place. $30 per night seems a tad steep for just going fishing for 3 days, but I have paid more in the past so it is not completely out of the question. Are there any more options in the area, or are the prices pretty much set for the area?

My rig is fully self contained and has plenty of water and battery power for the time planned, but my parents are not (yet). They really would like a power source other than the single battery that they have now, so power hook ups are minimum at least. If there is a fish cleaning station available at the campground, then water hookup is not necessary.

Thanks

Fish-On-Bend tells you straight. Twin Lakes Resort is where you want to set up camp.

Fish-on-Bend's name is Joe. (I should know)
Shelter Cove resort is at Odell Lake not Waldo.
East lake also has an rv park with hook ups, but its not on the lake side, across the street. East lake would be my choice for good catch rate of 14-18 inch browns.
Wickiup has a fish cleaning station at Gull Point.

South Twin is usually my first choice. Surprised to hear the campground is $30 a night thought. Last time I stayed there, maybe 3 years ago, it was $12 or so a night. Second choice might be Gull Point, but it can be windy there. Campground is also much larger with some nice sites, but not as nice as South Twin.

The other close option is the RV park at Crane Prairie. http://www.crane-prairie-resort-guides.com/ They offer full hook up's in the RV park and also have a state campground close by with a fish cleaning station. However, there are no hook up's available in the state campground.

Looks like we are heading down to Newport for some crab now.

Parents are tight on fundage, and would rather hunt crab, so all this support from you guys will have to be put to use next year.
