Default Gold Lake?

Any Gold lake reports from recent trips? Should be getting good.

Well I had a couple of friends return from a few days down there (tue, wed, thur.) and they said that it was not fishing very good at all. Maybe the fall pre-ice bite hasn't started yet.

Well, Mark you have touched on a soft spot of mine for Memorial day Weekend, not neccessarily Fall. Take a tube or toon, hike through a foot or so of snow and you'll catch a fish at least once a half hour or so. Brookies and Rainbows. I love this lake trolling a two fly dropper set up and reeling like crazy. The bows jump out of the water and the brookies dive deep (big ones). I have always had a great day at the end of May here.
