O.J. In Jail Again ...
News just reported OJ arrested in Las Vegas being held without bail on Robbery charges. Will he do the time or will he pay his way out of these charges?

Re: O.j. In Jail Again ...
Seems like the stuff he was trying to get back may have been stolen. Going in with armed men is no excuse, how this plays out will be interesting. No doubt that greedy Goldman fellow will have his hand extended to get his piece.

Re: O.j. In Jail Again ...
even if it WAS his stuff, and even if the guy DID steal it .. its illegal to barge in uninvited armed and demand your stuff back. Thats alot of IF's tho ... oh .. how can you be so cold about the Goldman's ?

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
Listened to some of the audio tape. OJ has some serious issues, he's nearly 60 years old and on the tape he sounds like a 19 year old street thug. If you want to retrieve memoriablia how about calling the authorities ...

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
Wouldn't it be ironic if he was actually innocent of these charges yet went to jail? News said he's facing 6 felony counts and could do up to 60 years in jail. No bail as his past experience has showed he can be a flight risk.
The Goldmans and Nicoles' family deserve every penny they can get off the scumbag imo.

I'm curious as to why the "victim" here had the forethought to have the tape recorder going when it all went down.

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
I read that they came in commando style. No, not THAT commando. The more literal term.
If they just burst in, it shows some amazing foresight to have that tape recorder ready. Maybe he got tipped off, but it just seems odd.

This is just another attempt by "Whitey" to hold the "Black man" down.
Yeah right. Lock the Juice up. I'm tired of hearing about him. Let the murderer rot in a cell.

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
This just in:
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) -- Prosecutors on Tuesday filed numerous criminal charges against former NFL star O.J. Simpson and three other men in connection with an alleged armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel last week.
The 11 charges include two counts of first-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon; two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon; and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Should the fact OJ was on trial for murder before hinder him from recieving a fair trial? Seems many are quick to jump on the "lynch him" bandwagon. This "victim" tipped OJ off as to the whereabouts of his supposed "stolen" belongings, was in the room when he arrived, and suspiciously had a voice recorder going during the whole incident(of which the legality of is questionable). The whole thing just sounds a little fishy to me. Theres someone who is hiding something.
Further, with the history of both parties involved its going to be very hard to buy the integrity of their words in court. Additionally, I hope it very well leads to another not guilty verdict. I could care less what happened in the past, i just love to see our fractured "justice" system struggle to figure menial things like this out.
But then again, "nowhere in the constitution does it say that habeus corpus is guaranteed."

"But then again, "nowhere in the constitution does it say that habeus corpus is guaranteed.""
You wouldn't happen to be refering to those of Arab decent who have been inprisoned since 9-11 would you? Rendition I believe?
OJ got more than a fair trial the first time. How many Blacks were on the jury? Pretty much the only group that thought he was innocent after the trial. But yes I agree it should not preclude him from getting a fair trial the second time either. The D.A. will go through the evidence and I'm sure if there was some sort of conspiracy to "get" OJ I'm sure it'll come out. But really I could care a less. He is a scumbag imo.

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
I agree that our criminal justice system is faulty, trust me when I say I have very little faith in the system I work in .. BUT that being said, its the only one we have, and the BEST system compared to any other criminal justice system I have looked at from other countries.
It will be difficult for a fair and un-biased trial with his status in the media.
enjoy....

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
here is the clincher for me.
oj owes 32 million +/- whatever. goldmans have the book rights but..........once their payment is complete oj will get the remainder of the profits for sales of the book. so by publishing the book the goldmans may give oj a huge amount of cash in the end.

I seriously doubt that the book will sell that many copies to pay off the money owed to the Goldmans, let alone make OJ money.

Re: O.J. In Jail Again ...
I probably would have a recorder going too if I knew I was going to be in a room with OJ. If OJ is innocent then the recordings will exonerate him.
