Thumbs up Another P&Y Rosie Down................Pic Loaded!
Here's a few photos From a couple of my hunting buddies thursday elk kill.
Rose and Tor They are a husband and wife team That love there elk hunting. This is actually a really kool story and i hope i get it right. I wasn't in on the kill because i was on the other side of the mountain filming another hunt. So anyways.......They got into the elk a little after day break. The bulls were sounding off above and below them. We all had seen This bull before we named him Fence Post because his horns looked like 4x4 post. Tor knew his bugle so he picked which bull to chase. They put the sneak on made it to a spot where they were close and the wind was right and set up. first a cow comes in and Rose aint above droping a cow. Sounds like it was a 20 yard broadside shot.....yeah it was Thunk!



Right after she smacked that cow the bull came charging in to see what all the action was. Tor gets a 8 yard shot at mr.fence post! 2 elk down!
Good thing they had the game carts!

'Gotta tell you a short story about that bull. My wife isn't a hunter (she does support my hunting) and I ordinarily wouldn't give a thought to having her come in here to the den to see a critter someone else had taken - - - - I made an exception in this case! She was very impressed with the mass of those antlers at the base - - 'pretty amazing! Thanks for sharing your friends' hunt and Give them our congratulations! Don & Vicki
