Default Re: Mouth of the Deschutes?

Fished there today from about 5:30am until 12:30pm. No luck personally but there were a few taken on silver bladed Blue Foxes. I switched between flyfishing with a Purple Peril and Spinning with a Blue Fox. There were a few boats just out of the mouth but I didn't see how they were doing.

Default Mouth of the Deschutes?

Is anyone fishing the mouth of the Deschutes out in the Columbia and how are they doing? I am probably headed down there this weekend and am wondering whether I should take the sled and fish out in the Columbia or take the bike and ride up river a ways. I would like to head up the river in a sled one of these years but haven't learned that with anyone yet. Any help would be appreciated.
