HUGE KOKANEE IN GREEN PETER!
And as far as I know, they are still in the lake because all I caught today was one little nine-incher. Bummer! After not getting to fish for over a month, I finally get out on the lake and just barely escape getting skunked. Oh well. It's been so long since I've fished, I think I may have forgotten how. That work thing really gets in the way. And I've had different brothers and sisters visiting from California, which has taken up many of my days off.
But there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Vacation is coming up, and by a strange coincidence my wife's family is having a family reunion at Diamond Lake at the same time as our tenth anniversary! And by another strange coincidence, that's where we had our honeymoon! So we're gonna whoop it up, and maybe get some fishing in. Load the kids onto the boat, and get them into some trout. And load the neices and nephews onto the boat and get some more. And maybe Granddad too.

Okay, I know it was a dirty trick, but it wasn't actually a lie, because I'm fairly certain there are huge Kokanee in Green Peter. I never said I caught them.
