Default This Summers Coyote/Varmit AR Builds

Just finished a couple Coyote/Varmit AR 15 builds this summmer...now I can't wait til winter.

Build #1
MEGA upper and lower recievers
Oly K8 20" Stainless Bull Barrel in .223 that Dtech Fluted and Ported
YHM Lite 4 rail handguard with lite rail covers
RRA 2 stage trigger
Ace Skelton Stock
EURO Grip
Harris Bipod
Leupold Clone 3.5x10.x40 LR/Tactical scope



Build #2
Olympic Arm Ultra Match Upper w/ 24" SUM Bull Barrel in .223
Oly Lower Reciever w/ parts
Oly FRISH 4 rail Front Hand Guard with Lite rail covers in Coyote tan
RRA 2 stage trigger
ERUO Grip in Coyote tan

I assume they're both .223? Do you like the 24" barrel for coyotes, or is that a rat gun?

Yes both are .223 and have not used a 24" for Yotes yet...but I plan to some.

Those are pretty guns. I especially like the SS fluted barrel on the top one...nice!

Very nice Bob!
I'm sure you'll be pleased with the accuracy of the Oly SUM barrels......I know I am.
My Oly SUM is also 24" fluted .920 in 1in12 twist. Shoots the 40gr V-Max nicely.
Little on the heavy side though......but I'm a man, I can handle it.

Here it is Andy, I mounted it on an Oly K68 M4 chambered in 6.8 Remington SPC...

nice rifles Bob. I've never handled an AR with the rails on all sides of the handguards- are they uncomfortable at all for a carry rifle?
