Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
Bait Boy name says it all drives to and from while I sleep, does all the work while I drive the boat.
Mr. Fisherman has to be the breakfast burritoes and he's been a good luck charm never has a boat that he has been on been skunked. (There Pilar now I've fixed you for the Halibut trip, your sure to get skunked after I've gone and said that. Take my Lucky charms will ya.)
RT, just because he is RT. great philosiphere and a real Gentelman (NOT)
He is a great fisherman always tryin new things. Thats why I think he is so successful thinks outside the box. (In the gutter)
Smily, Because he has a new drift boat and is going to take me steelhead fishing this year. PLEASEEEEEEEEEE!!
Lamisnap Brian, Because he is GOD, Just a fun all around good person to be around.
Then there are the boys from up in the Seattle area. They bring Crab, smoked salmon these boys know how to show up for a trip. You know who you are (I forget your Moniker's) Bouy 10 YEEHAA
Rick T. and Edikuaskis They are just like Bill and Ted not to bright but trainable.
there has been a lot more that I forget.
The sturgeon masters from Pleasanton. Mike and PEPE California.
Oregon fish chaser,
Mr. Sturg when we caught the keeprs at Bonneville WOW that one was a brute. I really enjoy fishing with all the ifishers that I've met on this board. Don't be afraid to offer trips on this board. I have found that most all of these guys are more than willing to help out on the expenses and are very knowledgable and a lot of time they will trade a trip or two with you.
Dan!

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
I would have never caught the fish that I have in the last 3 years if Capn' Dan hadn't got that boat and shelled out all the clams for most trips in return for a bait boy and chauffer.
Ray's burritos hold water.
I drive, I back trailers, I bait hooks, I net fish, Sometimes I even chip in for gas. (oh I pull and set anchor too)

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
I have met Artwo briefly out on the Sandy one day.
The very first person I fished with from Ifish was Phunybonz. Then it got worse!! Then we got to meet a slew of Ifisher's at the Floatilla's Revenge #2. I met them and didn't fish with them. Maybe that's why I don't remember names. Phunybonz was a pleasure to fish with, Good conversation, Traded techinques like how to catapult fish from a river and so on. That was a Good day.
Next person was SteelieSteve. We did the Lower Sandy river and was also nice guy to fish with. Not to much action went on that day.
Then one day I went out with Ryan fish. We got out and also did the lower Sandy. That day it rained on us and was again very slow action.
Now it's time for Captain Dan and his gang. His Gang consisted of Aron, Rick, Kao, RT, Mr Fisherman, and Me!! What a wonderful, beautiful day that was on the Big blue. I don't know why they call it blue, It look green to me. Any way, Meeting all those Ifishers at once over whelmed me. Great secrets were shared on how to catch fish. Except I must have not been listening that day cause I had a bad case of Skunk that day. Is it true that there are days no matter what you did you can not catch a fish even if everybody else is catch them? I was Humbled that day. What a great day it was still fishing with them guys and the joking around that went on. The Capt'n only had to change the Duct tape on the hull once when we were out. That's not to bad. I would really like to see it now, since it had been rebuilt and it's called Ol Swan.
Last but not least I got to fish with Birdhunter. A very nice and knowledegable(sp) individual. We went down the Clackamas and even though we caught nothing he showed me his salvaging techinques. Nearly throwing himself in the river for an old overgrown trout spinning rod and Reel. He showed me another one he cleaned up and looked nice and ready to fish. Nice Job out there.
So far everybody I met has been very nice and enjoyable to go fihsing with!
They say there is alway's one bad apple in a bunch. I hope to meet him tonight wearing the Tu-Tu at the Witchita and this way I'll know to stay clear of him. It is good we can all get along and get together and share the one common thing we all love. That's Fishing. Everything else is a minor. I hope to meet other Ifishers and these Roll calls should be a good place to do it and plan new trips in the not so distant future. There's gonna be how many Silver when?

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
I guess the Ifish member I would fish with would be my fishing partner now, STZII. He has a good boat and lots of room. He also doesn't mind if I puke in his boat when we are out fishing in the ocean. Just as long as it comes out the top end and not the bottom end. (HAHAHA) The other member I like to fish with is Drahcir and Sluttgoddess. We all have a great time when we go out and fish. That doesn't mean we always catch fish, but we have a good time trying.

RT, he is a helluva boatsman, good fisherman, and a genuinely great guy to fish with. Knock on wood, we have never been skunked together to this day.

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
Well Coot22 and I have been fishing for many many years now and have caught many many fish together. Fortunately I think the balance is tilted to my side. Anyone who has a North River is a friend of mine. Been all over Oregon in pursuit of just about every kind of game w/ him. He showed me a lot about salmon and steelhead fishing and I showed him how to hunt. Well, I showed him what it looks like to hunt anyways. Seems like the only time he ever gets a shot off is after I've emptied the gun. Gotta be quicker than that Cody!
Ayefsh is another really great guy I've had the pleasure to spend many trips with. Most of them successes too! Won't comment on the Rogue Springerbust. This guy is a sturgeon catching fiend. Really knows his kokanee stuff too. Now if only we could get him into some salmon! Ah, well, he has a N. River too, so I'll tag along anytime. Doing the Bouy 10 tournament on the 24th w/ him and Coot. Should be killer.
Fished w/ Chnookie once and have had many great conversations w/ him. He's too busy right now w/ kids and houses and stuff to get out much, but he's a really great guy. Need to find him some salmon too. I'm sensing a lot of silver trips on the Clack.
Smily is a great guy too. He was lucky enough to see me throw up the oars as we were about to enter some rapids and lean way over the side of the boat in an attempt to snag a dinky trout rod and reel. Probably should have given him some warning before I did that. Well you'll be happy to know that I am all dried out now and the rod and reel are cleaned and looking like new. I love river booty! Did some hard diggin that day to get back up for the rod and then that chromer chinook. Hope to actually catch some fish w/ him tomorrow up at McIver.
Of course who could forget Capn' Dan's coho fishin trip w/ Coot and myself. What a blast! Hadn't had that much fun on the ocean in a long time. I loved actually having the "hot rod" for a day. Really entertaining trip and some really funny people. I think a duck hunt is definately in order for later this fall.
Only fished w/ Chuck n' Duck once, but he got me into a steelie that day. Actually we had about 9 take-downs and caught a couple of huge trout out of the Siletz. I have to agree that a drift trip is a good way to prepare for midterms. Hope to see him some more this September on my coho stream.
That's about all the major ones. Really hope I didn't forget anyone. Look forward to meeting and making some more friends on the water. Go fish!

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
So far I've fished with BOE, Bigstew, ******, Spooled, Willierower, Biteme, aand Smiley. Seems inevitable to like fishing in the finest boats. ****** in his Willie sled and Spooled and Willierower in their Willie driftboats. Both ****** and Spooled keep their boats so clean you can't drip bait juice in them but they are tops when it comes to knowhow. I fished with Willierower on the Floatilla II and Spooled was first boat in and immediately nailed three fish while all the rest of us watched. Then theres ****** with his mobile spinner manufacturing lab. Never seen anyone with more spinner components!!! Stew is a great guy to fish with. Knows the Wilson and is religious about bobber and jig fishing. Hope to fish with as many of you Ifishers as possible but those 4 are the top of my list. Haven't fished with RT yet but I know enough to let him preceed me down the bank(they don't call him the human avalanche for nothing). There were many I met on the Floatilla I'd fish with. Can't brag of any fish I've gotten; like I told ****** it's like I was dunked in banana oil this year. Any of y'all up to the challenge of getting me into a fish?

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
I have enjoyed ALL the ifishers I have fished with but my favorites have got to be my pals Steve and Mark. We have a great time together and even if we aren't catching fish these two guys are always enjoyable. I'm glad I've moved beyond the stage of my fishing life to where I don't feel like I have to compete like I did in my younger years. Fishing with these guys I'm completely at ease and have always had a great time with them. With RT you never know what to expect right Mark?

Right Stew,
RT is a kick in the pants to fish with. Especially when he gets a whole 45 minutes of sleep before we head out. Hmmm...maybe that's why he tumbles down the hills all the time.

My partner of seven non-stop, unseparable years. We've kinda gone our own ways after
he got his own boat, family and friends.
Stop it Steelie, you'll give folks the impression we make people put on an Intel "bunny suit" to fish. Not the case. You just have not seen it when it is FULL of blood or a few days fishing in a row.

Well, I haven't fished with any other Ifishers, except......PILAR. Not that I wouldn't, just haven't had the opportunity. Dad and I just got a new boat though..2359 Trophy...so Maybe I'll be inviting some of our fellow I fishers along for a Slammin' Salmon raiding party..or possibly TUNA?....

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
FishinMission (Markski)is a great fishing buddy of mine. He introduced me to Ifish not too long ago, so far I haven't met other IFishers. He's quite the successful fishinguy, and has taught me alot over the years. I must say the best days fishing with him are when Mrs. FM & I catch the majority of fish, haha. Every trip jokes fly and the fishing stories get bigger. Worst part, I've known him too long and he knows I can clean my own fish.

Re: Which IFISH member do you enjoy fishing with
Well let's see...my Ifish guest list keeps growing. First it was "Fishinlady"....from way back. My first Ifish member was Bait O Eggs (He skunked the boat) ...Then there's "Pete" and "Hawgcatcher", got "Bigstew" out last Saturday...and so far that's it. Seeing "STZII" and "Fishchaser" out in my spot right now, and Birdhunter and Coot 22 sat next to me a couple of times... and they're a riot!! So many cool people here...hope to get more of you out there!!
