To all you boat owners!
I was thinking about this yesterday when I had the good fortune of having an excellent day with Mark (fishin mission)on the Columbia. If it weren't for gracious and generous guys like Mark and others I wouldn't look like some kind of fishing expert (which I'm not) So to all you guys that let the boatless of us tag along a big THANK YOU!!!! This is the list of the boat owners that I've been lucky enough fish with this past year.
A BIG thanks to all!!!!

Re: To all you boat owners!
Hey Stew, You've never made it out on the Ol Sea Swan. Have all the post in the past scared you off. I did cover that hole with tape on both sides and I do not try the water in the gas just so the tank says its full anymore. See I learn from my mistakes. I was wandering though that if I charge my batteries up to a full charge on both of them and turn the key to start if I could troll that way on the starter without hte motor running in casse I do run out of gas instead of buying a trolling motor. What do you think will it work.
Seriously we should plan a bouy 10 trip. Me, you, RT and Mr. Fisherman or maybe bait boy.
Remember we only target 30lb steelhead!

Re: To all you boat owners!
Stew:
I was fortunate enough to be invited on a boat, when I was still a bank maggott.
"Tanner" took me out on both his drift boat and sled.
We should think about putting together a "take an IFISH bankie on your boat float".

Re: To all you boat owners!
I would be happy to participate in a take a bankie fishing day or whatever. After we have these gethers and I get to know more people I would hope to get the opportunity fish with lots of i-fishers.

Re: To all you boat owners!
I think Capin' Dan has been sponsoring his own little private take an Ifisher fishing rally since springer season on the Columbia.

Re: To all you boat owners!
My son and I usually have an empty seat on my boat. Hope you don'yt mind being outfished by a 10 year old kid. It took me a while to get over it

Re: To all you boat owners!
There's occasionally seats open on my boat, and there have been a few Ifish non boaters and boaters coming along with me me. I enjoy meeting Ifish folk. Your ticket in my boat is to be available after about 11 or noon.

Re: To all you boat owners!
If any of you IFishers can go during the week let me know. I can sometimes get away and have an open seat.

Re: To all you boat owners!
Wow,I just Row'd in from Umatilla and boy are my arms tired. Good thing I was going down stream. Us drifters sure have it hard chaseing fish in the big river. Flat bottoms over whitecaps sure take a toll on ones kidneys. Somewhere near the Dalles I found some fun whitewater going over this big cement thing??? Kidd'in aside. I got pretty pumped reading that several of you folks would open up a seat on your sea-going vessels to a bank maggot or even a drifter!
If the offer is still available I sure would appreciate an opportunity. With a few days notice I can move my schedule around.
Foods my business so lunch is on me. Share gas whatever? Keep me in mind PLEASE and Thankyou.
Think Fish

Re: To all you boat owners!
I wholeheartedly agree with Stew. If it wasn't for sturgn taking me out so often. I wouldn't know half of what I do and wouldn't go fishing much.
Thanks, John.

Re: To all you boat owners!
Rick, what a hoot. No wonder my web browser is locking up so bad today. Too much CRACK I guess. Somebody needs to come up with an award like an Ifish grammy for best use of graphics or other photo props. where's those
moderators????

Slow Roll,
Yea, I loved that show. Larry was kind of corny. I loved some of his stupid little sayings. We used many on the river and it was always good for a few laughs.

Re: To all you boat owners!
I wonder if you can get some of his reruns??? He was great until he got traveling to these out of the way places fishing for cats and bass. I guess fishing is fishing. How are you feeling Rags. I'll bet your trigger finger is twitching. Has Snapshot given you a call. He is supposed to have fished up in the sound this week.
