Westport Tuna 9-15/16 - Dock Party Sat
Planning to run for tuna on Sat & Sun. Who else is going?
Sat. evening we are planning on having a dock BBQ, end of summer gathering or party. This will be on float 5. If you are in the area stop by and say hello, bring something to grill and tell some fish stories. I'll have a BBQ available. If you don't have a slip on float 5, just pull in an empty one and come visit, or go park your bopat and walk over to slip 5. Look forward to seeing everyone.
If you think you can make it please let us know.
Todd

I've got to work the Boats Afloat show here in Seattle, otherwise I'd be there.
Rain check for next year, though!

I work for Anchor Marine Underwriters- we do commercial, charter, and pleasure marine insurance. I'll be at the docks on Friday and Saturday, manning the booth.

Will be out there myself. Wife wants to try her hand at tuna fishing. so will take her out and celebrate our anniversary. Will try and remember to stop by and say Hi!. What time are you going to run out Saturday. Are you running to Grays canyon or Willapa? Two weeks ago Grays was on fire.

There is still time to change this, but currently thinking of heading just S. of Gray's. Channel 68 & 16. Not sure about departure yet. Usually can get bait at 5:30 but sometimes not until 6.

Re: Westport Tuna 9-15/16 - Dock Party Sat
We'll standby on 68 and 16 also. Probably wouldn't be light enough to run until abuot 6:30 anyway, unless I mount the spotlight.

Re: Westport Tuna 9-15/16 - Dock Party Sat
Looks like the briny will cooperate this weekend with some nice calm weather and seas. I would jump at the chance to go out this weekend and join the BBQ, but the admiral and I have an anniversary and birthday celebration this week so will have to make it another time. You all have a nice time, bring back lots of tuna and other bounty. I look forward to the report upon return!!

FishNgKing-
It has been a painfull 2 weeks since I've been out, other than a week ago getting blown off the pond. Looking like just S. of Gray's Canyon is where we will start looking.
Zman & FishNgKing - make sure to visit the BBQ if you get a chance.

MM and TT - I don't know what you are talking about. I will have to see a picture to believe that. Besides, real men can have leopard skin pillows. The fact of the matter is that I spent all my money fishing so that was all I could afford.
