Cr Tuna Tuesday Friday

I plan to go out hunting for tuna tomorrow and Friday. Anyone else going out off the Columbia? I would like to stay in radio contact at least and share sightings.

Boys, the bar was a tad snotty yesterday morning and they closed it for about 35 minutes. Very large swells but nothing dangerous IMHO but there was no safe haven on the south side like you normally see.

If I can round up a crew, I am running out of Ilwaco on Friday.

I will probably head out around 7:00, as the fuel dock was closed when I got in last time and I am down to half a tank.

Are their hours 7am-5pm? I too am a light on fuel but I won't be getting in town till around 7 and I really don't want to wait unitl 7 to run.

The Ilwaco fuel dock is not about value and customer service.

They have a captive market and act like it.

I have tried to call and see if I can get them to come in early (is 5:30 or 6:00 early at a fishing port?) and they have always refused, even though I am a pretty good customer at 140-180 gallons a trip.

I am in the same situation as you, so it looks like I am sleeping in on Friday.

Guys, why not call Dave together and tell him you have two boats that need fuel friday night or at 6am Saturday morning. He's done the Saturday morning thing for me without a snivel. I am sure he can work something out for two fillups.

The fuel dock at Ilwaco is what it is, both convenient and inconvenient at the same time. Here are the phone numbers, maybe a call in advance would help.

I think Mike wants to fill up late Thursday or early Friday so the 2 fer deal wouldn't work. I need to fill up late Friday or early Saturday. Are there any other fellow boaters need fuel late Friday or early Saturday? Speak up if so and let's try to get Dave some after hours business.
