Default Old Mill RV Park Marina is open

I just learned The Old Mill RV Park Marina has opened the marina and boat ramp.
The slips can handle boats up to 24'.
The tackle store is not open so you have to make arrangements at the RV park check-in...503-322-0322
They have plans to dredge the channel this winter so bigger boats can get in and out and they are replacing the roof on the marina store building.
Sounds like things are starting to happen with the new owners who bought it last year.

Thats great news they are re-opened.

But I have heard it for about 10 years now that they are going to dredge the channel.

I agree about the dredging but that was the previous owners.

We'll see how these new owners do..

That is good news. Until and if dredging happens - does anyone know how low a tide before it goes to mud ? I just need 8" but seems like I've see Miami cove all mud before.

Every time I've seen it at low tide, it's been mud around the docks. Until they dredge, I wouldn't even think about launching or mooring my 25' boat there. JMHO.

Thanks for the heads-up Del. I sure hope they dredge and do some improvements on the ramp.

It was closed this spring, so I don't know how much more it silted in during the winter- if any.

When last used, last December, I'd figure on the tide having to be about +1.6' or so to use the ramp -- and I need about 2' of water to keep the prop out of the mud (18' deep-V).

Any tide over +2' made it a piece of cake.
