Chek-Mate Hunter II, 62" nock-to-nock, 51# @ 28", $350 for all
For sale is a Chek-Mate recurve. For those that aren't familiar with Chek-mate, they are considered one of the best values in the custom/semi-custom traditional bow world. Many consider them superior to Bears or Martins for similar cost. Performance is very good and a 62" TDII can be used up to a 32" draw.
The Hunter II is a take-down bow, and extra limbs can be ordered for a lighter or heavier bow. The bow for sale is in excellent condition, with no marks or dings. I can sent pics for those interested (please forward your e-mail address). The link below will give you some info on the Hunter II:
http://www.recurves.com/Takedown_Recurves.htm
I bought the bow new in 2004 and hunted one seaon with it. Other than that, it has been used for occassional target practice. I have always used 500+ grain arrows, so the limbs have not been over-stressed with arrows that are too light. It has never been strung improperly, nor dry-fired. I know how to handle a recurve and have taken care of this bow.
The limbs have a walnut laminate, and the riser is bubinga and purple heart (I need to verify riser woods). Everyone that has seen this bow says that its beautiful, even those not into archery or hunting. My wife thinks I will regret selling it, but we have a 10 week old son and funds are limited for my other hobbies. I have gone to the dark side and use a compound for hunting, and have other stick bows.
I will include the following with the bow:
1. Sel-way slide-on quiver. These cost $50.
2. Arrows. I have Goldtip Hunter XT arrows with Carbon Express tube inserts (for extra weight). qty=6 arrows fletched with feathers, qty=6 arrows unfletched. Cabelas sells the bare shafts for $75/dozen
3. Other arrows. I have qty=7 Easton 2016 Lite aluminum arrows. 5 are fletched with feathers, 2 are bare. Cabelas sells the bare shafts for $52/dozen.
4. Broadheads. I have qty=6, 125 grain Phantom broadheads. All in excellent shape. Also have 125 grain field points.
5. Limbsaver bow stringer. Costs $11.
6. Misc items. I will include a Super Tab, shooting glove, and spare string (B50, string on bow is 450+ made by Tammy-Jo). I'll include whatver misc items I can dig up such as extra nocks, etc.
I would like to sell the bow and all accessories for $350. Please note that a Hunter II is selling for approximately $465 new, with no arrows. For more info, I would suggest searching the following links for more info on Chek-Mate. They have an outstanding reputation and a big following.

I would be happy to meet at an archery range (Rose garden preferred) to allow you to try the bow. Let me know.
Thanks,
