Wanted:To be a crew member on a hali trip

I don't know the etiquette rules for this request, but I would like to learn how to fish for halibut by volunteering to be a deck hand on someones halibut trip out of Newport.

I'm a good deck hand with lots of ocean experience fishing for salmon.

I can buy gas, beer, bait and share some salmon techniques learned in Sitka. I also can clean a boat pretty good.

I work during the week, so can only get free on the weekends.

I'm hoping that a Salty Dog would agree to show me the ropes.
