Thanks Marty. I haven't seen it yet. Why does WA always seem to get theirs before us OR subscribers? ... Hope they brushed up my mug like I asked .

They got youre mug in there twice. Once on the Columbia wearing your fashionable life Jacket and the other one at Pike Place with the Steelhead. The wind in your face on the Columbia takes off 20 years

I saw the pic of me in the STS at the ifish Roadhouse gig tonight - and it was brought up by ... oh, I don't know ... EVERYBODY; that I had knee pads on in my column pic. Thanks Nick for cropping that off for me . I have a perfectly sound explaination for why I was wearing those. As soon as mind head clears up I might remember it. Until then I can only come up with ideas of how that could possibly have happened:

- I raced to the boat launch after playing in a girls volleyball tournament as an alternative, and forgot to remove the pads?

- My stickin knees hurt?

- I do pray to the fish gods - properly on my knees.

- It's just a habit from my guiding days - if we don't catch fish I ... I ah ... oh man this is hard to admit ... I get down on my knees and ask for forgiveness .

- Knee pads shmee pads, what's the difference?

Only 300 and some odd dollars for a beer tab? Tell me only one of you were drinking.

Steve, I thought you said the kneepads were for hitching ride back up to the rig, at the takeout? Must be for all that beggin', right?
