Default Coho upriver?

Is anyone willing to divulge any info as to where a guy could get a few coho up river from Astoria? Where and what works for you? My boat is a little too small for the big water. Thanks in advance.

It might take a while for them to get there, but eagle creek off the clackamas is pretty tame water. I am pretty sure most boats can handle it.

Oh yeah...just troll flourescent red "Wiggle Warts" in the area downstream from the mouth of the Clackamas River. About Labor Day weekend or so.

BOA, your butt would barely fit in Eagle Creek.....he he eh. Pulling plugs, spinner, drift fishing, on the Clackamas from Feldheimers down. You can also do this on the Willamette from the mouth of the Clackamas down to meldrum bar.

Also try the Lewis River, Kalama, Washougal, and Eagle Creek in the Bonniville pool above the Dam. All are expecting a fantastic run.
Have Fun.
