Calling All Tuna Gurus
The recent posts have indicated that fish were found at the 125 line and even one real tuna guru noted zero fish for his efforts at a spot near Garibaldi where even we didn't do real well on Friday. However, have you all seen the forecast for later in the week. Friday is 10 foot combined----yikes!!!!!!!
So, with this strong NW blow and the less than stellar reports from some locations, here are the questions for the tuna gurus and their crystal balls:
What has been going on recently that the fish haven't been around or are they around and just non-cooperative?
Have they abandoned their near shore ventures and opted for that famous 125 line? If so, why?
When the ocean returns to a more user friendly state, where will the longfins be?
I just like to read all the ideas that the smart people in this sport have to offer because we can learn so much from their musings. Gentlemen, start your educated guesses.
