Default Tackle alert!!

After spending (wasting) my time at Fishermens Marine last weekend and finding BC Spinners closed I returned to Tillamook and guess what? Tillammok Sporting Goods has one of the best supplies of Toman Spinners and blades I have seen. The best colors and lots of them. These guys are really trying to get the right stuff. Fishermans had Delta Divers ON SALE for $8.99. TSG had them regular price $8.95. Just thought I would let you all know. I don't work there or own stock there, but I shop there. They give guide discounts too.

After what the owner to This store posted at the two bit and what he has done to not support sportfishing groups and efforts in the local area, I wouldn't be caught dead taking a sh*t in his parking lot, or better yet his bait cooler. When I am in The big cheese it's Kimmels or I go without. After talking to people that know more than me I will not set foot in his store. Do yourself a favor and ask around and then make your own decision.

Everybody has an opinion. If the signs at the two bit hole keep the uninformed from tying to a cattle fence and breaking it down so be it. How many property owners on the Trask and Wilson post their property? And how many have reason to do so? Ask Tillamook Anglers if he supports sport fishing programs. I for one don't really care where you prefer to defecate.

I wouldn't buy **** from Tillamook Sporting Goods. If I can't find it somewhere else, I guess I'll have to go without. I'm sorry, the owner is an idiot and shouldn't be in the sporting goods business, he doesn't have a clue.

Sorry Joe, I respect you opinion. I guess they just rub me the wrong way. (my opinion)

Nothing like an 8' X 10' sign on HWY 101 proclaming: "OPEN AT 8 AM!"

Sorry, most of us are fishing WAY before then.

Do a search on them on IFISH, we've discussed them in the past.

Seems most people agree...THEY SUCK~!

I'm with you Fishbait. I'll ride shotgun with you in the Two Bit Hole anytime! I still think all we really need is a couple of KING size bed springs on the bottom of the hole. Great days for our bobbers, lose everything, every cast for the belly rippers.

I admit I havent been in Tillamook that long but I'll be damned if I'm going to base where I shop on someone elses opinion. I have spent some time in the place and have seen some of Tillamooks finest in there buying their hearts out. Seems to be okay for most of the guides that have their advertising in there. Oh well sorry if I offended anyone by bringing it up. In the future I will research all my stores before I buy. Moderators why not just close this thread. Obviously its going nowhere and causing a lot of distress.

No stress at all. Hey, speaking for myself, this was not directed at you at all, but those of us who have put up with this guy for MANY MANY years with MORE than you can imagine BS impacting one of a lot of peoples favorite bobber fishing holes, you gotta' put
up with a little valid "what goes around comes around" for this genuine and bonifide
sweetheart of a "real and caring" NOT individual.

"Hey, you all move ALL your boats outta' MY HOLE right now, time and time again, then, Hey you all, I'm building a dock on MY OWN HOLE that will cover the entire hole, then Hey you all, I'll just create a war and open one side to paid fishing, then the signs. We can't prove it but he also did something bad to the hole, major lime or something, along with the doo doo's killing the cover on both sides of the hole, the floods and subsequent downing of major trees near the hole, then it filling in with the flooding, was a heartbreak for me and many on this board who can relate.

Again, for me, that's where this is going or ending, not at your very well intended posting of good scoop on where to find and buy stuff everyone needs.

No perhaps it's not Alaska, but many of us have seen 30 to 50 BIG fish days in the old days, and it was heaven on earth for watchin' bobber downs at all times.

Anyway...we all need to take care of the lower Trask as well as the entire river. What a river of dreams and memories for me. Some of the best times of my life have been sitting in this hole during a hot bite.

I KNOW, I can get at least a couple AMENS! on this statement. You no bait, double corkie double hooks, pull the trigger on anything, belly rippin' sick snaggin' ****'s, please go and practice your trade and expertise somewhere else. End of rant.

Just a little background why this hit a couple of nerves. I am serious about the bed springs though. Hope these are not the next signs.

See you out there in October.
