Default Nehalem

Has anyone heard how the fishing is on the Nehalem? There should be some fish in the lower river and bay by now.

Thank you.

Mudsucker:

Was that you in disguise at the jaws on Sunday? The one who spread the traps perpendicular to the Jetty right in the fishing channel? I didn't recognize your voice when I offered to fillet your crab bouys for you.

As far as fishing goes, it is not red hot yet. Marked some in the jaws and I heard that a few were picked up near Nehalem and Wheeler but nothing to brag about. I didn't mark any fish through Wheeler when I was heading back in after High slack.
