Thanks to all who were out there looking over some of us newbies. I did get out on Sunday, but the wind-waves made it a bit too uncomfortable for me & the crew. We found 64° water 20 miles NW of Depoe, but the water didn't look too fishy to me (no surface animal activity, still greenish). Trolled for a bit, but then chickened out and headed back. Wound up catching a bunch of native Coho 8 mi out, but only 1 w/o the extra fin.
Still, I gained a bit of experience/courage, and I'll be out there again - just not with this week's weather.
I love this site. Thanks again,
Ted.
