Marie,

Yeah, let us know how long your sticky shrimp scent will last. I got mine last September.

Taste?!!!! Which cracker would you recommend?
Please, PLEEEEEZ, tell me there is another way.
How about smelling the stuff?
I just can't fathom "taste testing" the Smelly Jelly, Gel scents, shrimp oil, and other things in my box and boat.
DJ - Are you serious?

SKP,

My Scents will last a long long time when kept away from heat source.

Never leave My Scents in your tackel box. The smell is pretty yucky smelling when its left too long in a warm place.

Refrigeration is best.

Oh and another good suggestion is when you use My Scents on jigs, just put a drop or two on the heads and just a drop or two on shrimp tails when using jigs.
You should never pour the scent on. Just a drop or two will do just fine...

Thanks for all your support.

Good Fishing,

If you want Marie's Scents in a Store near You, let the manager know about it.

Its supposed to be cold tonight...32 degrees...

remember to disconnect your garden hoses from your outside spiggot. You don't want them to freeze tonight!

This is an easy one..when the smell is gone the scent is no good.

I usually get rid of my salmon and steelhead scents when they start smelling more like sturgeon bait, or just start using them for sturgeon scents.

I think you need to go fishing more often if you're worried about scent going bad.

It wouldn't go bad if you fished with it more often...

Good Fishing Day! The Wilson is at 4.92 feet and still dropping. Fish On!

Hey Marie,

Do you plan to have your scents at the Sportsman's **********, or I mean warehouse?

Keep Marie's Scents in the refrigerator and they will stay fresh.

And when your in your boat put it in your cooler where your soda is...

It will be just fine!

I think the stuffs rotten when you buy it.....fishin partner of mine gets the screamin meanies every time he uses Smelly Jelly. We decided he has to stop licking his fingers while we're having chips.......that or not eat the red finger prints on his sandwiches.

Does it ever really go bad? I used some stuff my dad had - salt water herring oil - he's been gone 7 years and I know he had it a few years before that... sturgeon loved it last time out! Just add some extract of anise or vanilla and use it up! Great in the morning coffee too! zip

I read somewhere on the internet that the half-life of smelly jelly is only 2 years and is one of the longest. Keeping it cold might make it last longer but why in stores isn’t it stored in the frig? However, if it does go bad, it will actually discourage fish from taking the bite. Remember that fish can smell millions of times better then we can. I usually throw my scents away after the two years. It’s not that expensive to replace.
