Default Pickle Water Bath?

Correct me if I'm wrong...I'm looking for my instructions. In the water bath, the jars are not completely submerged.?.?. I read a thread that said the tops of the jars were 1-2 inches under water... I think that is the water of the bath comes up to within 1-2 inches of the tops of the jars.

Thanks,

Mark

The jars are completely submerged. The water is 1-2 inches OVER the top of the lid.
