Newport salmon report?

Heading over the bar to try salmon and hali . Anyone have any luck[good or bad] out of newport?

Trolled 3.5 hours last Saturday. Not even a bite. Went back in and started bottom fishing about 3/4 mile south of the jetty and we couldn't keep the fish off of the hooks. Talked to the fish cleaners back at the docks and they hadn't seen one single salmon come in. Good luck!!
