Default Fred's Sez\' ......

Visibility is ALMOST two feet today (monday) Now, I told myself that I would not start too early this year but I sure am hankering to get out there !! Would I guy look too stupid pulling a herring around at the top of the channel on wednesday ?!? Thanks in advance . swampy

They are already catching a few at the mouth of the Clackamas. I say go for it!!! Worst case scenario you can always fish Sturgeon later on if the salmon aren't biting. Give it a try at let us know how you do. Good luck!

Like I reported yesterday, a gentleman came in Sunday to Fred's with a very nice springer in the box. To early? Nawh, but the numbers will be better later in the month. I'm giving it two more weeks and then I am heading down to the lower river areas.

Visability was good Sunday at about 2 ft and the water down in the lower willy was looking pretty good and to the greener side of brown. Break out the herring and let'er rip.
