Re: Tuna off the CR
Good numbers over the weekend:
Fri - 124-41
Sat - 124-45
Sun - 124-42
All between 46-10 and 46-12
Other reports of good numbers outside of the 125 line.

Re: Tuna off the CR
This kind of sharing numbers for tuna is an example of the greatness of this site. Yes, we know that tuna move around plenty, and sharing one's favorite, semi-secret halibut hole may happen via PM. Kudos!!

Wonder why catch rates are high and more people fishing than ever????
Why the seasons are more restricted every year????
Because any novice can go to IFISH and learn in 5 min what it used to take 10 years to learn!!!!!!!!!!

I have watched fishing turn from a sport with two old men in a small boat with white fiberglass rods to the circus it is today.
Greatly due to anyone and everyone willing to tell anybody how to do it on the internet.
I find it amazing and frustrating at the same time.

Telling someone where the fish were caught last weekend is MUCH different than catching them. Ask any of the folks that were out there. Actually, the worst thing we can do is tell them someone where the fish were caught, and what the catch numbers were (remember, we are not to post any catch numbers any longer on Ifish). When they get there a week later, without knowing what to catch them on - well, it is setting someone up for a big disappointment.
Personal relationships outside of IFish (although IFish is a good conduit to develop those relationships) and PM's are still the predominate way real information is shared on or off Ifish - IMHO.
