Default Where is this? Tree sculptures

I noticed these last year. I don't know what the guy was trying to spell or ? The letters are a couple feet tall. Hunting this weekend was slow so I thought I would take some pics. Anyone else ever seen these?

'Sorry, Mike, I don't know. I'm not a bow hunter. I think I saw some earlier threads with links to timber company access information on here that should be of help to you. Good luck. Don

Actually, I think he did it while he waited for the topped tree to stop swaying so he could climb down Don

Oh, BTW, I'm pretty certain this is public land and not Stimson - - 'have to double-check.

'Course, I await confirmation I'm correct on the location of these - - I do know there are some where I described but the particular ones shown could be elsewhere. Don

Sorry about the late reply, I think the week end caught up with me and I hit the sack early last nite. These trees are in the Wilson unit. Near the intersection of the Wolf Creek road and where Kinney Creek Loop starts. I am sure this guy has left his mark in other parts of the forest though. I am waiting to see some faces carved on the top of some trees now.......

Interesting! From what I recall of the ones I saw, I'd have to say it's likely the same artist. Don
