Nope. That's my "Gran Pappy" from Kentucky in his "WoodenCraft" brand Sturgeon drift boat. It had special hook ups for the TEAM OF HORSES you don't see in the picture that had to drag this "pup" out of the river, no doubt.

Or it's actually "Son of an Okie" who I have in fact, been in the boat while he fought and released five oversize, BY HIMSELF in a single day, but I am sure, even he will admit, this one did not come on a rod and reel.

Go ahead and email my Gran Pappy for his secret WHOLE TURKEY on a cattle meat hook Sturgeon rig. (His secret was in the dressing). His address is:

Seems to me that even the moderator is going a bit to far. Give the guy a break. Fun is fun, but he may never crawl out of this hole and be a part of this forum.

Actually, in Stew's pic. you can see the old cane pole ******'s Granpappy used to catch that monster. I'll bet those giants tasted like crap. I wonder if they ate them?

Thats how they used to feed'em up at the fish hatchery. I work on the Columbia river and recently we found a siwash hook on the bank (low water) thatlooked like it had a gap between the point shank of about 21/2 inches. What a meat hook. Must of been lost on one of those legendary up river brights? Keep those pictures coming!!!
