Another big thanks to Catch and Eat

I posted a reply to another post but feel what Catch and Eat did for us a couple weekends ago deserves another mention.

There was a cell phone communication error between my buddy and another I fisher. We arrived at the Illwaco docks at 4:30am to find we had no boat to fish on our seats had been filled.

Catch and Eat (Bernie) arrived at the dock and saved our day. He made a few calls and found a seat for my friend and added me to his already full boat.

I really dont know too many people who would go out of there way just to help like Bernie did. Thanks again Bernie!

We had a great day fishing with a fun boat full of guys. It was my first Oregon Tuna fishing experience and I really enjoyed it! I learned alot about Tuna fishing and cleaning from Bernie and FishBait (Steve).
The Salty dogs are lucky to have soo many good people as members!

I forgot my camara but snapped a couple shots when I got home of the kids in thier pajamas playing with one of the fish. Hopefully when they get bigger we will be able to fish the ocean together! -Steve

They don't come any better than Bernie. I can think of a few times I stuck my thumb out and Bernie was there to give me a lift. I guess with all of this tuna madness he didn't have time to work the green glow hootchie? The guy can catch Salmon too, he just can't hand off a rod very well

though I'm not a salty dog yet post like this make me proud to be apart of a group that takes the time to help out a fellow fisher. post like this are why I joined. thanks to the salty friends dogs and other wise
