Default COHO CLOSURE INFO

Here is the text taken from the FWS web page. Looks as Thursday will be the last day.
7/18/01 UPDATE: THE RECREATIONAL SELECTIVE COHO FISHERY FROM CAPE FALCON TO HUMBUG MOUNTAIN WILL CLOSE AT 11:59 PM ON THURSDAY JULY 19, 2001. THE GENERAL "ALL-SALMON-EXCEPT-COHO" SEASON REOPENS JULY 20, 2001.

The salmon/halibut sports regs on the odfw home page has a rough map of the coast and the sections that are referenced in the regs and news releases. I would post the thing but can't figure out how.

Uneffected by this closure is the salmon fishery out of the Columbia River, which season will run to "the earlier of Sept. 3 or subarea sub-quota of 102,500 coho," acording to the ODFW. If you didn't understand the meaning of "subarea sub-quota," you ain't alone.
