Default Need Lewis (N. fk) info

Folks,
Get Bit and I are thinking of heading to the N. fork Lewis for Steelies this weekend and need some info. Can any of you Washingtonians help us out?

- Where can you get a liscence at 5am on a Saturday or Sunday in that neck of woods?

- How has the river been fishing?

- Any closures, low water, obstructions to look for?

- any one know of a shuttle service?

thanks in advance.

For your license, go to the washington
dept F&G in vancouver during business hours.
Last year I got mine and they gave access
steward sticker as well for $40 and no dealer
fee. It's right across from Freddys on St.
Johns (I think).

FF: If you are buying a 2 day license, make sure you get the parking pass they issue. If you plan on parking in a WDFD access area otherwise a $66 fine. I don't know if you are launching at the hatchery side. If you take out at the golf course you should be alright without it. If you take out at the Island ramp then you need the sticker.

As far as getting a license on Sat., good luck. There are no shops open that early. Either get it on line as suggested or pick it up the night before.

There are a few fish in the river. Work it slow and you should do alright.

There is no really difficult water on the lewis. Only area of concern, if you have a sled, is the area just below Johnson flats on the right. About 150 yds down stream it is getting skinny for sleds but not for db's.

Goodluck.

Fisherman's Depot, Woodland. I think they open at 6 am.
Does any one have their phone number?
They're new.

Alan,

If you are in that new Willie boat you should be fine, skinny in places. Check the PP board for a current status. As for a license, I don't know, call the tackle shop in Woodland or find a Freddies on Fri night. Steve

Hi School pharmacy is the only License source in Woodland. Located on left as you head up river on the north side of the river. Hours? I dunno.
