I heard that ocean coho will likely be closing due to quota on sat. or sun. ????????

Update ....
I just talked to a guide friend who got off the phone with ODFW. They said that a closure is likely on this Thurs. evening.
I apologize if I am spreading second-hand news if it is not accurate, but I thought I had better throw this out there.

i just got the odfw press release in my email. could be as early as thursday depending on what they decide in the teleconference.

just got another one that they might be shutting down sturgeon fishing for a while to keep the sport harvest within guidelines. you guys are getting too good at catching them. somebody's freezer is chock full of fish and it ain't mine.

Closes Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain at 11:59 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, 7/19/01 for fin-clipped coho. It is on the ODFW web page under news and bulletins.
