Default Coho quota out of Newport?

Does anyone know the current percent of the coho quota out of the Newport Marina? I have the url for the page that shows the catch rate but I'm afraid I'm too uneducated (nice word for stupid) to understand it. I'll be there next week and am wondering if quota will be shot by then.

As of July 15th, 77% of the alloted 55,000 fish have been caught from Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain, this area includes Newport. Doesn't look good for next week. The season will likely close by the end of this week. The chinook season will still be open, just harder to catch with fewer fish available.

The Cape Falcon north should still be open for both silvers and chinook when you arrive. A little farther north (130 miles or so) if you want to chase some salmon.

good luck on your trip,

hook
