Default In need of some support

In the last year and a half I have been extreamly focused on weight loss. I have seen success (52% bodyfat to 25%) and there's more to go.

About a month ago I had a bunch of disruptions to my schedule and I am having a really hard time getting back on track. I was in the gym 4-5 times a week and really eating clean. I've been to the gym twice in the last month and McDonalds is showing up more times than I care to admit in Quicken.

I've been setting my gym bag out and getting to bed on time but the alarm goes off and I'm not getting up. I'm really discouraged by my lack of motivation and I'm not seeing a reason for it.

Would you please pray that God would fill me back up with the passion and drive that I had and that he would reveal to me whatever it is in my heart that I have been hiding from?

Thank you,

Ben

Ben,

Sounds like you need to rebuke the enemy and command him to get out of your fitness schedule...pray that God would give you renewed strength and focus...

I once was at 265 pounds (huge for me) and I decided that I was going to make a change..I was not going to buy bigger clothes to make me feel better because they fit...I did a lot of research and you are on the right track...eating clean...working out...drinking lots of water...I actually did the "Body For Life" program...which by the way if you commit and stick to it is an awesome plan...in 16 weeks I went from 265# to 208# and 7 % body fat...

I don't know if you have heard of it but you can go to www.bodyforlife.com and they have it all dialed in...it is basic principles...eat right, drink lots of water, and work out with weights 3 days a week for 45 minutes...and on the off days (non lifting) you do 20 to 30 minutes of aerobics first thing in the morning...

the quickest way to get back on track for me just like when I miss my devotions and bible reading first thing in the morning for a few days...is for a time you will have to make yourself do it...plain and simple...you'll see that soon you are back on track...

Lord I pray that you would give Ben a clear mind and focus, that the enemy wouldn't tell him that the bed feels too good to get up...we rebuke that because we know that he wants him to feel crudy...Lord give Ben a clear mind tonight that he may sleep well and wake up rested and ready to go...amen.

Wish they had cars and trucks that we could program so they would not even touch the parking lot of the fast food eateries
I will Say a prayer for you.
My wife says I should do some push up to give me the strength to do push aways
It seem once we slip it is real hard to get back on track.
