Thanks for posting these distressing pictures. Funny that just last year there were wild, native chums spawning in the channel to the north of Ives Island .. guess that's not an issue this year. These photos point out the importance of watching the big boats when anchoring near the channel.

It's the lowest I can remember. Drove up the gorge yesterday and couldn't beleive how much sand is showing. Above The Dalles Dam it is pretty full but the Deschutes is a couple feet lower than the last time I summer fished there. Looked for my favorite spot on the lower river and couldn't fish it. Too low.
