Boat Washdown Services
To make life easier...we have a couple of hungry boys that need to buy new school clothes...they will be washing down boats Friday-Sunday at Big Tuna Marine.
Simply pull through the gate and they'll show you where to go...they'll be in OTC T-shirts ready to help clean up the mess! You will have fresh water available to rinse your motors as well.
Cost is $25 and it all goes to the kids. We're on the corner of 6th and Biak in Garibaldi.
This is like one of those high school car washes minus the cheerleaders!

But it's the cheerleaders who initially get your attention! Bud, you think this post alone will get enough attention? Maybe you & Del need to put on a Speedo and wave the signs

Quite certain we would have to hand out barf bags to anyone who made the mistake of seeing that.

Great idea and good price for a messy job.
Next thing Mark will want is matching Croc shoes to go with the Speedos. Yikes!

Sorry...they can only do boats that come in on their trailers...and they will be available on Sunday if someone can wait.

Re: Boat Washdown Services
Bud that is a great way to make a few bucks for the kids - summer is always tough as a kid to earn that extra couple bucks to take your gal out for a burger - kids still do that don't they?
I used to have to pull endless weeds at my Scoutmasters house to earn a few shuckles to get to the next concert. Washing boats, pulling weeds - all good

Re: Boat Washdown Services
Count on the "Sales Call" for a Sunday wash on our way out of town. Great way to increase tourist revenues in Garibaldi. Great service and this newbie will be whooped after 3 days on the water.

Re: Boat Washdown Services
Sounds like a great idea, ONLY if you promise not to let Bud and Del anywhere near the washdown area in anything less than full raingear. Treb, we can always wait until Sunday and run it through then on the way out of town. Blood shouldn't be too dried on by then.
