Garibaldi 08/19/07
Four of us went out today and were blessed with a beautiful day/ocean. We were fishing for silvers but it was not in the cards for us. We fished from 180-300’ and didn’t even get one. We did hook quite a few sharks, one of which was at least 7’ they played havoc with our gear. I guess hooking something is better than nothing. I know others had better luck than we did. The specifics…cut plug, 18-25 pulls, with 8oz dropper.

Re: Garibaldi 08/19/07
Pretty much ditto for us, limited on Saturday pretty easily with 4 fish, had 4 people in boat today, fished four rods from 7:30 to 2:00 with the following results: 2 sharks, 1 makerel, 2 drive bys and 1 one non-hatchery released. I heard bite was good in 200' off mouth of Nehelem, we fished all south of there.
What a nice day though!

Crazyfish is correct we had 1 on at 10.8 miles lost it and moved in to 05 li ne had 3 tuna on and landed 1 of them. T'railer S'ailor is the name of my boat and we often fish inside of the big boys since we can only hold 20 to 25 tuna.

Re: Garibaldi 08/19/07
The tuna were in close, and Crazyfish did not even need to jump in the water to repair anything. Way to go, nice release on the 2x6 8 footer as well.

Re: Garibaldi 08/19/07
We boated up 3 clippers yesterday (Sunday) off of twin arch rocks with the rest of you guys. White hootchie spinners and chrome 00 dodgers with silver flash tape was the ticket. 2 first thing in the morning, 1 about 2:00pm. Had a bunch of others on between re-rigging because of the sharks!
