Went out fishing Monday and Tuesday (8-13,8-14) out of Newport. We limited out both days (black rockfish) in under 1 hour each day. Caught them all on the surface. Throwing spinners at 'em. Also caught several nice ling great two days of fishing. Other than the heavy fog when returning on Tuesday.
Thank you for the report. Floating around on the reefs and tossing light tackle is one of my favorites.
