Re: Place to rent in Tillamook
Hawg
We've stayed at the Western Royal Inn in Tillamook. Its nice and less expensive than the Shilo which is also nice. Parking is OK, but don't know about a freezer...does that say something about my fishing??

Re: Place to rent in Tillamook
Hawg,
I have stayed at the Western Royal in Garibadi several times and they Do offer their freezer for your fish there. I am pretty sure they do the same in Tillamook. can't say much about heir relaxing Spa or sauna. Cold spa ,very litle water movement and the sauna took forever to heat.
If you also tell them you are down to fish , they give you a discount. Sure hope this helps. Wish for a Chinook fish. SUre hope I get one this fall. No chinook yet. Tight Lines .

Re: Place to rent in Tillamook
Received a note from Dawn at BayOcean Vacation Rentals explaining that "Due to circumstances beyond my control .... The home is no longer available for rent as of July 10, 2001." I'm guessing that it was probably sold?
Dawn has been very helpful though out the entire process.

Place to rent in Tillamook
I'm fishing in a tourney and need a place to rent for a couple of nights in October. Need room for three adults and boat trailer parking. Can any of you experienced ifishers recommend a place in Tillamook or Oceanside, or is my best bet the Shilo? We will be fishing the Memaloose area.
I had reserved the Bay Front Rental at Memaloose (see link on Jennie's main page) but was just notifed its no longer for rent.
Thanks in advance! Oh yea, I'll need plenty of freezer space as well, those pesky kings tend to run on the large size......
