Look Nook! According to that picture, you'd only have a shot at freshwater clams in your hot spot!

My hot spot? People are already staying there and might as well put their address sign on the tree or on their anchor buoy.

Particuarly fun trying to beat people and their friends I showed in the first place. OH WELL, take what's left anymore. Leave Tuesday for Saturday I suppose.

Have you ever fished the second red can on the fast corner above the mouth of the Sandy? There is an ol' gal that fishes there in a yellow cuddy SeaRay. Stays overnight, frequently only leaves to get groceries from time to time once the season starts. Even then she'll leave her float in that spot.

...really wants 'em bad. These days I just kinda wait for a tide that accommodates 'my' schedule!

Aah, I do it too, but not more than a one night stay over anyway. WAY TOO old.

As far as I am concerned if you are in your boat and you are the "hungriest" to endure, the spot be yours, you earned it. Leavin' the anchor in place for too long, might be a case of the "current must of took it away" situation though.
