Default Sturgeon Virgin No More!

I just wanted to say thanks to the Green Pirate and FWF1 for a great day on the water this weekend. I'd never caught a sturgeon before and these guys put me into fish. The sturgeon challenge got me drooling for the no stop action. My day came and I personally set 3 hooks and brought them all to the boat. Shakers, but who cares! It's amazing how well these guys know the river. "Let's move over about 30 feet and see where we are"....90ft, 88ft, 86ft...85! That's where we want to be" Within minutes we had fish "licking" our goods...I'll let the other guys tell the rest of the story..but man what a great day.

Thanks guys,

Fisherfield

Congrats!!!!
The first ones are always the hardest.
It took me 6 trips before I finally got one....my first was also a shaker, but I thought it was a keeper

Congrats Jeff!! Sounds like you had a great time. Them Sturgeon (prehistoric carp ) are a lot of fun to catch.

Jeff,
Great job! I was going to invite you out for the sturgeon deflowering, but somebody else beat me too it. Glad you enjoyed the experience.
I'll get you out on the boat here before long. Maybe Wyatt and shelby can join us.
Take care,
GBS

Moley~ The shakers are still big enough to have some fun with for sure! Got your PM and we will do some double teaming on Springers soon!

Steelie Steve~ 10-4 good buddy!! Wanna plunk on Saturday??

SHOUGALNITE~

GBS~ I'm not really sure what happened....I was a little tipsy (water legs) and the next thing I knew.....it was all over. I don't remember much so we might have to give it another try! I'm taking Shelby plunking this weekend. I'm thinking a large blue tarp and a bucket/shovel and she'll be lovin it! Leme know if we need to save room for Wyatt

West Linn Wader~ I learned that your stuff has got to be stinky!! The Lick it!

******~ Nice new boat top! Looks warm and cozy!! I've never fished out of a ship like yours! (hint..hint)

Justcastn~

Green Pirate~ Nice hangin with you!!

ReelBigFish~ Thanks brother. I've worked it out with the wifey for Valentines day. I should be plunkin'......you down??
