Default GP kokanee, X-15 finder review...

The kids and I headed up to Green Peter for a few hours of swimming/tubing/fishing. Thinking it would be easier just to lift the fish into the boat, we left the net at home. What a mistake. We ended up taking home 11 really nice fat kokes but let at least that many get away right at the boat. Most were caught on downriggers at 40 feet. Fired up the X-15 for the first time today also. I opted for the dual frequency transducer and it really came in handy having the 37 degree for tracking downrigger balls. The definition is unbelievable. The glare off the screen seemed unusually bad and had a tough time seeing it from a distance. At one point I recieved a few warnings that the gps module wasn't responding but for the most part the map feature was very accurate and easy to use. I'll have to take it out in the salt to get a better idea of how it works, but so far i'm pretty happy with it... Joe

If I knock my own salmon off with the net in the middle of the ocean and nobody saw it, did it actually happen?
