Growing up in Longview and fishing the Kalama my early years, the only thing besides being open would be a shuttle service.

Long ago you could get rids with the loggers but very rare because of the wackos out there.

Congrats WR, Sounds like you you are getting the right ideas. Good bait and shuttle service.I am sure there will be things that come to mind later. Since I spend a lot of time up at my place on the upper river I will stop by and say Hi once and awhile. Good luck.

I have to agree with you Eric 100%, but unfornately the campground has nothing to do with me. That is one reason why Rainbow park closed down was due to the "shady characters" as you call them. Its too bad someone can own such a beautiful piece of property on the river and let it go to waste like that.
I will be cleaning up around the store, and I want to make it a pleasant place to visit. I will do the best I can.
I am taking note of all suggestions and I will do my best to see that all of them are carried out.
Thanks for all your support!!

One thing that comes to mind is to clean up the campground (if that's what it's called) behind the store. Every time I drive by and glance over, it looks dirty, run down and host to some pretty shady characters.

With camp kalama packing tennants in like sardines and rainbow park no longer running, it would be awesome to have a nice clean place to pitch a tent mid-river.

Best of luck to you! I'll stop in later this summer and give your business the benefit of a fresh start.

P.S. A good supply of fresh, small sandshrimp and a shuttle service would be nice to!
