Default Ifishstock 2001

Hey, I need to know if we are going to do an ifishstock party this year.
I don't know if y'all can't do it, aren't interested, or just didn't respond, but Aug 18th is the date, if we have it.
Please, let me know. I need to start planning or not planning on this, k?
Post here, or e mail me at salmon@seasurf.net

Thanks!
Jen

Here is some additional info.
Have gotten some e mails asking, what is it?
See ya there, Thumper!
---

OK, the final date for the ifishstock 2001 bbq is August 18th, 2001.
Limited, unimproved camping at Kilchis River Park, 1/2 mile up the road, and assorted motels around the area.
I am working on a getting a group discount at the Shilo Inn in Tillamook.
I think there will be good clamming and crabbing around Tillamook, some summer steelies floating around in the Nestuc and Wilson... Nehalem Bay Salmon should be red hot, and of course, all the way down to Astoria will be salmon.
The bbq/fun starts at 3 PM at the Hedlund household and lasts until we all poop out.
There will be no camping here at the house, due to us not cutting the field this year, combined with the fire danger that driving in it could cause.
We may be able to keep anyone who is unable to drive at night, etc. Write us and we will talk about that.
I will order a port a potty and I think we will prob have plates and silver ware. We'll need some extra bbqs, and if anyone local can bring a table or two, that would be great.
Admission is bringing your own meat to bbq, and any side dishes to share. Last year we had people bring all kinds of goodies.
Fishrus even deep fried a turkey! YUM!
Let's see... what else?
Oh yeah! I was thinking of doing a tackle swap at the same time.
If everyone marked all the tackle they want to swap or sell, and give me your name ahead of time, I could mark a spot on the perimeter of the lawn for your goodies.
I just think that would be a blast!
So, it's the ifish tackleswapfishstock!
Need to build a list of interested parties.
Please e mail me at salmon@seasurf.net
Put party in the header.
I'll build an e mail list and keep everyone updated here, and via e mail.
Thanks!
Please include on this e mail how many people, and if you want a spot for the swap.
Entertainment will be provided by all of us ifish idiots!
Also include if you are interested in staying at the Shilo. I need an estimated number of people for the bid to get a group discount.
There will be prizes, and a drawing for something... Haven't figured that out yet! Perhaps a trip? We'll see!
If you guys want to order hats, I could have them available then... But we need to know who wants a hat?
Jen

How far away is the nearest hospital? I would like to come but my wife will be 8 months, 3 days pregnant at that time and we should probally stay close to medical facilities.

Thanks,
Jeff

Stew
That was copied from an earlier post.
I didn't get enough response back to do hats, and I've been really busy.
Thanks for reminding me though, I have to get ahold of him... or John? Get a hold of me?
I would still like to look into this.
Jen

It is extremely kid friendly.
In fact, David, my son, may have a sleep over with his friends that night.
There are lots of things for kids to do.
We'll have backgammon set up, and they can wade in the water, (what's left of it!)
Bring um! Ping pong too!
