Kalama or Lewis reports

I'll be heading out steelie fishing this weekend. I was just wondering if anyone had any updated reports on the Kalama or the Lewis. I did a search but didn't see anything for the past 10 days.

I fished the mouth last weekend and on Tuesday night. The weekend was fairly good, didn't see a thing tuesday night, but I had to leave about midnight.

I got one out of there last week, about 5lbs. and lost another on friday.

At the mouth of the Lewis the tides are kinda poopy this week, improving next week with some killer AM tides starting about Wednesday. Reports I have heard are that the folks trolling the green line are doing OK, even with the minimal tide and low water flows in the Lewis. The low Columbia is really helping us this year by pulling the green water well out.

I forgot to mention, for another month or so I'm an 80 percent bank angler [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] Hopefully I will be purchasing myself a boat then.

Is the Columbia open to steelhead fishing out of Kalama around Sandy island?
