Cr Tuna Report

just want to let you know where we hit the fish. Headed west from CR
bouy. Saw jumpers at the 46.09 124.36. Rolled up on em and casted a swimbait. Just then a whale came up about 75 feet away from the boat

. Man that was exciting. Came up three more times and and showed us his tail and dove. Started trolling and picked up a double. We never got past the 37 line and ended with 11 large TUNA. We were short on Ice and it was getting late so headed back in. We were just a mile or two south of the hali grounds. I heard the bite was better out about the 41 line but we didn't want to go out any farther. Great day on the water.
we did hook one fish casting a purple and black swimbait. Largest fish of the day on 25 pound flouricarbon. That was exciting.

In true CR form a lot of folks here owe you thanks for the shout out. Also to the boat Double Trouble (a buddy of mine) Bruce Thompson for a shout out to the fleet too. You guys were really on the fish man. Nicely done.

I'm one of them who thanks you for the shout out. My mate & I had a goal of 8. We were stuck on 5 for an hour & a half. Heard your report & started trolling in your direction. Got to about the 37 line & got 3 quickies in 10 minutes. Thanks again.

Nice report Mike. Glad to hear you got into the Tuna and got a limit of salmon. Did you get into any halibut?

glad to help. You guys have got me into fish every other time so it was a pleasure to return the favor.
Just the one hali on saturday. Didn't try on sunday. The hali reports were poor.
