Thanks for the update. Sounds like an awesome day. Your gonna need some freezer space, a good problem to have.

Default Astoria Gators(7-10)

Fished the same area that I did with some new friends on Saturday (7-7), just east of the Astoria bridge. We were fishing by 5:45, and had our 5 keepers (58.5, 53, 51, and 2 @ 46") by 9:30. Released 3 or 4 shakers, and a 44, 46, & a smaller starry flounder. Did have a few problems with the sculpin thieves, but just kept checking and changing the bait. Again, fresh anchovies were the ticket. We also tried sand shrimp, smelt, and sculpin but had no luck. Fished in 12-16 feet of water with decent current.
May have to convince the wife to go with us next Sunday.
Currently looking through old posts for good recipes for the smoker. Any suggestions?
