Tillamook Silvers Suck II
Yeah those Tillamook Silvers really suck. They sucked down all our hooks and we boated 6 fish and all six were fin clipped. We were in port by noon and started around nine. STZII, Drahcir and myself went out on Saturday and did our part of the damage on the quota. Of course if it wasn't for my chummin' (Which of course is illegal in the state of Oregon)we wouldn't have done so well I think. I wish I could get the picture of the fish up but that will have to be after the class Jenny is doing.

Man it's getting deep in here. Couldn't cut the B.S. with a shovel , jk. Good job on the fish, though. Would like to see the pictures.

Re: Tillamook Silvers Suck II
Fishchaser or Stz II;
Either of you fish above twin rocks this week? Thought about crabbing in T-Bay or Nehalem on Saturday and then going for at least the silvers on Sunday out of either bay?
Anyone else have a report this week? I'm setting in New Jersey waiting to fly home this early morning and can't wait to hit the coast this weekend.

Thanks!

Re: Tillamook Silvers Suck II
Yesterday morning, friends went out and limited before 9.
Lots of wind chop.
Worth the bump.

Re: Tillamook Silvers Suck II
fish-n-alot, We have not fished Tillamook since last Saturday. We did fish due west of Twin Rocks. We fished in about 225 feet of water. I have been in Caifornia all week (working unfortunatly) and have not yet heard any ocean reports. The one thing to remember this week is the tides. The tide is high at about 8 am. I would suggest going out at first light and returning back acorss the bar no later than about 9 am or so.
Best of luck and knock them dead

Re: Tillamook Silvers Suck II
Here is some photos from my trip June 30th, July 1 and July 2nd catching silvers out of Tillamook, with Dad and myself. The last picture was a day my brother went with Dad and I. In the one photo you can see the boat tethered off shore a ways so it wouldnt beat on the rocks at low tide.
I have no idea how to reduce the size of these photos so it doesnt scroll

Re: Tillamook Silvers Suck II
Stz II and others, I got the picture. Now I really believe you! Beautiful fish. A picture's worth a thousand words and I needed to see a good one, thanks. Also, thanks to Bait O' Eggs, too. You've all reminded me what fish actually look like. LOL

Re: Tillamook Silvers Suck II
Just got back from Port Angeles, WA. this AM, fishing up there is nithing to write home about. Our offshore fishing has been a whole lot better than those up North. Way to go Pete for setting these non-beleivers straight about our success. It was a very good day out there on the Ol' Blue Pacific, I had a great time, Thanks!
