Default Willapa River salmon

Left South Bend dock around 7 am on way to tuna fishin. Very heavy fog in river. Saw five or so boats on radar before getting near. Around 100 foot visibility. Fog cleared by Tokeland and more boats in that area. Saw around 10-12 boats fishing. Guessing most came out of Tokeland marina, or launced very early. Minus 1.5 tide around 7 at Toke Point. I do not know how successful people were since we did not get back until 12 hours later. Last Sunday, there was a report of 6 to 8 chinooks being brought out of Tokeland. There was also a report that a fish checker was due there August 15. There was a fish checker at South Bend launch last year but I do not know the dates.
